Tell us about the inspiration and vision behind your fantastic new single, “Heartbroken Era‘ ?
“Heartbroken Era” is a truly intimate and personal story for me. The inspiration behind it comes from a significant chapter in my life – meeting someone who seemed extraordinary but ultimately became a painful yet profound life lesson. I poured everything into that relationship, often putting them first and losing myself in the process. When it ended, I was left with nothing but painful memories and heartbreak. This song is more than just a closure. It symbolizes the end of a year marked by heartache and the beginning of transformation. It captures the bittersweet journey of letting go, finding strength, and rediscovering myself after love lost. The release date of the song marked the exact one year anniversary of the relationship.
The song explores the pain of love gone wrong and the journey to spiritual freedom that follows. How did you capture these deep and complex emotions through your music?
I wanted to capture both the raw pain and the strength it takes to overcome it. “Heartbroken Era” reflects the deep emotional turmoil of being entangled in a toxic relationship – unfulfilled dreams, deceit and heartbreak – but transforms that anguish into a story of resilience and growth. The lyrics chart a journey from sorrow to empowerment, ensuring the song isn’t just about pain but also about reclaiming myself. Sonically, I wanted the music to reflect this evolution, balancing vulnerability with anthemic strength to celebrate the triumph of moving forward.
What are your most favourite artists and inspiration to make music?
I often say that music is my therapy, which is why my greatest inspiration comes from my own personal stories and experiences. I take these raw emotions and blend them with mythology and symbolism, weaving allegories that elevate the lyrics beyond their most literal meaning. This allows my songs to resonate on a deeper, more universal level. Each track becomes a sonic landscape – an immersive journey of healing, transformation and self-discovery.
My favorite artists and musical inspirations come from a wide range of genres, each influencing different aspects of my sound and storytelling. Icons like Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, Depeche Mode and Khalid are on the list.
What’s next for you after “Heartbroken Era”?
I’m currently working on several international projects and collaborations, which are pushing me to explore new sounds and artistic directions. These collaborations allow me to experiment and blend different influences while staying true to my storytelling and emotional depth. Beyond that, I’m looking forward to performing live and connecting with audiences on a deeper level.
