German uprising DJ and producer Toby Callum has struck an exhilarating collaboration with the most highly-sought and multi-awarded Russian DJ trio, Swanky Tunes, in the track, “Drown.”
Made out of huge room ingredients with a dust of electro for flavor and a bite-sized dash of Eurodance for flavor, the track makes the most out of the collaborator’s vocoder theme style intended for massive success. Hypnotic, catchy, and danceable, the track surely got stuck in listeners’ heads.
“Drown” was Callum’s first collaboration with a giant artist. Swanky Tunes pioneered electro house and progressive sound and proudly represents East Europe and Russia on the map of dance culture.
Even if it’s Callum’s debut on Revealed’s main imprint, the young German DJ and producer has been continuously growing his experience and recently released on Revealed Radar (DJ/ Producer Hardwell’s Revealed Recording that has been on the frontier of music experience) with “Falling,” which also featured on Lithuanian HQ, Hardware On Air radio, and Future House Cloud.
Callum is an up-and-coming EDM artist from Germany. In 2020, he decided to leave his homeland and move to the Netherlands to study music production at Herman Brood Academy. In just a year, he released a song with Revealed Recordings.
His music has gained him thousands of plays and support by some of the giant artists in the scene, such as Mike Williams, Hardwell, Blasterjaxx, Dada Life, and Maurice West, among other names.
Callum’s unique style is best described as a complex amalgamation of uplifting hard danceinfluenced melodies and relentless modern bass. The uprising artist started making waves in 2020 with innovative releases such as “Losing My Mind,” “High,” and “All of the Love.”
These days, Toby Callum is still focused on his music and continues to give everything he has. Pushing music in bold new directions, he’s putting a huge amount of effort into his new tracks. He also concentrates on putting out projects of holism and quality with each piece of work representing what he stands for that is being congruent to his artist’s name and enjoying the process and having that show through his work at the same time.
Apart from Revealed Recordings, Callum has already released songs with high-hitting labels such as Loud Memory on his song “All of the Love” and Loud Memory for “Who We Are.” “Drown” is an excellent deep dance track. Now that clubs and festivals are resuming again, this track will surely fill many dance floors. It fits the club scene very well and is an overall track to dance to.
