Manhead Merchandise, a leading full-service merchandise company for the music and entertainment industries with offices in Nashville, today announced that it has been tapped as the official merchandise designer and provider for the 2015 Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in historic Franklin, Tennessee. A first year festival, Pilgrimage will offer a diverse, yet renowned lineup of rock and roll, alt-country, bluegrass, jazz, indie, gospel, and more, just twenty minutes south of Nashville.

To make sure its first festival is a success, Pilgrimage honed in on Manhead as a partner to deliver the best in merchandise to its expected 10,000 attendees per day. Manhead is the go-to merchandise company for some of the best and biggest musical acts in Nashville, the U.S, and the world, including Fall Out Boy, Morrissey, Gavin DeGraw, and Train. Known for its emphasis on combining consistent creativity with forward-thinking fashion trends, Manhead will offer a unique lineup of official 2015 Pilgrimage gear, from men’s and women’s t-shirts to belt buckles, hats, coffee mugs, water bottles, harmonicas, onesies for infants, and more.

“We are excited that Pilgrimage has selected us as its official merchandise company. The unique culture around Nashville and Franklin has provided an awesome creative opportunity for us to design equally unique merchandise that will really resonate with attendees,” said Patrick Mahoney, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Manhead Merchandise. “It has also been a very rewarding and special experience to contribute to the first ever Pilgrimage Festival from the ground up with a collective of other Nashville companies that truly care about making this a success.”

In addition to running and stocking the merchandise concessions at the festival, Manhead will curate and host a boutique featuring vetted local visual artists and designers from the Greater Nashville area including Y’allsome, Narrow Gate Artisans, Project 615, Music City Suds, and Americana Cool. With roots in Nashville, Manhead has its pulse on some of the hottest trends coming out of the country’s most important music city, and is committed to giving new and emerging artists a chance to be seen. At the boutique, the local artists will be able to showcase their designs, network with concert goers, and industry insiders and get their name out in front of thousands of people.

“Curating and hosting the local artists boutique is important to us, because it lets us give back to the local community in a relevant way, while also providing a chance for up-and-coming artists to show their work in front of a huge, captive audience, without the typical barriers to entry that lesser-known, local artists often face,” said Chris Cornell, President of Manhead Merchandise. “And, this is Nashville after all, so we are confident that some of these local artists will blow people away.”

The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will take place on 9/26 and 9/27, celebrating the music, culture and best food in the Nashville area. It will feature local, regional, and national artists, as well as curated food, beverages and crafts from local and regional producers.
